Lightwork Design Iray v2.2 For Maya 2016-2019 (x64) | 1.53 GB

If you’re a Maya user looking for a plugin renderer that you can use straight out of the box then Iray for Maya is for you. Using Iray for Maya will simplify and enhance your design experience; use it to create stunning materials for stills and animations, at all stages of the design process with material nodes that are directly integrated into Maya.

As Iray for Maya uses NVIDIA’s Iray technology, it gives you access to physically-based materials, lighting and environments and can be easily scaled across multi-GPU workflows. And its ease of use means that whether you’re an experienced Maya user, or you’re just starting out on your CGI design journey, you’ll be able to create astonishing rendering results within minutes.

Iray Plugins allows your innovation to flow freely. We want to help you get to wherever your creative mind takes you – visualise, design and render your ideas through our advanced, Iray software. Develop your creations efficiently into stunning, photo-realistic images with our array of physically based materials and lighting.

We are innovators and always aim to be one step ahead of the competition. Our highly versatile plug-ins have the option to be used with multiple 3D packages, to support a wide variety of different projects.

Features:

Ease of Use:
We’ve created Iray for Maya to be easy to use, so you don’t have to spend your time learning complex commands and duplicating work. If you’re an experienced Maya user, or even if you are new to 3D modelling and animation, this is an intuitive rendering solution that provides high quality results in minutes. With customisable materials, support of Maya’s textures and utility nodes, real-world lighting features and scalable GPU workflows, Iray for Maya gives you high quality output with a user-friendly experience.

Physically-Based Materials:
The physically-based materials in Iray for Maya means that any material you choose for your designs will represent as they would in the real-world. As well as this, you will be able to replicate the following behaviour of any surface:
-Reflections
-Texture
-Surface emission
-Absorption properties.

The use of physically-based materials means that your render will look beautiful and realistic with no compromise on material quality, no matter the complexity of your project. Whether you’re creating still images for product promotion or CGI content for advertising, your whole design process will be simplified through Iray for Maya’s ability to quickly create new materials and support both Maya textures and utility nodes.

Iray for Maya’s physically-based materials are created through NVIDIA’s intuitive materials definition language (MDL); this will allow you to build them to represent real-world materials. In addition, you will be able to paint on brushed metal and varnish on paint, whilst also having the opportunity to add up to 16 layers per material. You will even have the option to include geometric properties like cut-out, displacements and bump maps.

Iray for Maya supports measures materials using X-Rite appearance exchange format (AXf)

No-one likes to start over again, that’s why once you’ve created a material, it can be saved and used across other MDL compatible applications. This will allow you to streamline your workflow and create a consistent output.

Physically-Based Materials:
Iray for Maya is a high performance, global illumination rendering technology that simulates the physical behaviour of light (both natural and artificial) with materials and surfaces. This gives fullglobal illumination to your rendered scene, using features such as:
-Caustics
-Sun studies
-Luminance distribution

Image Based Lighting:
Creating the ideal lighting environment for your image or animation is easily achieved with Image Based Lighting (IBL) in Iray for Maya. IBL allows you to use HDRI environments for your scene’s lighting, changing the lighting angles and exposure at the push of a button.

Light Burst for Image Based Lighting:
If you are using a HDRI with limited dynamic range, the light burst feature in Iray for Maya helps you achieve a more realistic scene, especially when the sun is covered.

IBL and Physical Sky and Sun:
Using Iray for Maya gives you incredible flexibility in how you create your lit environment. Combining image based lighting with the features found in the physical sky and sun nodes will allow you to experiment and create out of this world environments.

Physical Sky:
Setting the scene is easy with Iray for Maya’s physical sky feature; it will give you the flexibility to choose the exact time of day and geographical location of the environment.

Additionally, you can play with the colour saturation to get the exact look you want. By generating a high dynamic range sky-dome, your animation or still render can be set anywhere in the world at any time of the day. You can also manipulate haze, glow, light intensity, disc size and placement within the horizon to create beautifull lit and stylised renders that match your design brief.

The new features we have added include:
-NEW:Maya 2019 support
-NEW:Advanced dome settings
-NEW:Decals
-NEW:Support of OpenEXR compression methods DWAA (lossy) and DWAB (lossy)
-NEW:MDL module export
-NEW:Improved Reality Server export
-NEW:Command line bucket rendering
-NEW:ifmSwitcher

NOTE: Be aware that because of some changes in the Maya SDK the performance in the Maya Render View is not so fast as it is in Maya 2018.

Operating System:
Windows® 10, Windows® 8 / 8.1, Windows® 7
