Creative Assets
Canvas Draw allows you to create designs that employ both vector and raster graphics, as well as text objects. Canvas Draw features 11 dimensioning tools that support both metric and imperial units. Create dimension objects that conform to industry standards, including ANSI, DIN, and JIS, or customize your own settings. Use these dimensioning tools to painlessly nail down the exact horizontal, vertical, oblique, and perpendicular distances between objects in your document. Display size information as you draw, measure diameters, radius, angles, areas, and perimeters. Add dimension objects to illustrations, mark the center of arcs and ovals, and affirm the scale for scale drawings.
Packing Objects
Canvas Draw comes pre-loaded with a large number of commonly used and specialized symbols. You can also create your own from any vector, text, composite, or paint object, and add it to the Symbol Library. If you select and replace a symbol, all copies of it in the document will change along with it, allowing you to maximize efficiency.
Personalized Presets
Use the Presets palette to easily access an extensive array of predefined Fill and Stroke Inks, Pen styles, Dashes, and Arrow styles with one click. Or you can define, save, and share your own collections for project consistency.
Snap it up
Snap options help you to draw objects in exact positions relative to other objects. Draw lines that are parallel or perpendicular to other lines, draw circles contained inside other objects, and start drawing from the center points of objects.
Quick Captures
Save time using the Camera tool to effectively create a paint object out of any area of your document that you snapshot. You can set the resolution, color mode, and other options for the rendered image. You can include all types of objects and parts of objects in the rendering, without selecting the objects first.

Adaptable Editing
With SpriteEffects, you can apply image effects, such as Blur, Solarize, or Invert, to vector objects, text, and grouped objectsânot just image objects. SpriteLayers allow to you to apply transparency effects to illustrations, text, and images without affecting the original object. You can decide if the transparency affects the fill or the stroke, or both, and can remove the effect and restore the original object no sweat.

The Markup Pen, Markup Highlighter, Circle Redline, and Rectangle Redline tools let you foster a collaborative environment where ideas and comments can quickly be added to projects and conveniently exchanged between colleagues. Facilitate communication by indicating revisions, tracking changes, and adding comments to objects that may require attention or correction.
