used in conjunction with a high-CIC HDD System (Car Infotainment Computer).

Vehicles built (production) 03/2010 to the “USB update Road Map Europe West or East PREMIUM 2016-1” via three USB sticks easily carry!

Vehicles with a built before 09/2009 and vehicles with a Year from 09/2009 to 03/2010:
At whom the USB DVD update fails with error, the system software (firmware) must be update at your BMW dealer!

There can always be only one version.
A valid FSC is but for both versions is valid, so you can always switch between West and East.

To install the update is of course at your own risk and without ensuring that everything runs without problems!

Update via three USB flash drives (16 GB sticks are recommended | Formatting: FAT32) via the USB port in the glove compartment.
Unpack WinRAR archives and the contents of the folder copy “USB_DVD_01 | USB_DVD_03 | USB_DVD_02” to the individual USB sticks.
The folder “pkgdb” and the file “config.nfm” must be in the root of the individual USB sticks!

Update via three DVDs:
Burn “USB_DVD_03 USB_DVD_01 | | USB_DVD_02” respectively directly onto a DVD contents of the folder.
The folder “pkgdb” and the file “config.nfm” must be in the root of the individual DVDs!

DL DVD (Dual / Double Layer: 8.5GB) use.
Verbatim DVD + R DL blanks (AZO) is recommended.
Burn with minimal burn rate.
