Max ZT – an innovator in this instrument. Max ZT, renowned as the "Jimi Hendrix of forged dulcimer" on NPR’s, and the "force of nature" by NY Music Daily, the founder of the classic Irish folk music, transferred his compositional techniques. in Senegal, where he studied with the technique Mandinka family Sissoko griots, and in Mumbai, India, where he received a grant to study with the great master Pandit Santora Shivkumara Sharma. His fresh perspective and bold experimentalism became the basis of a nice complex and original compositions, while his unorthodox style of play has been a pioneering force in the revolutionary methods of cymbals.
Max ZT revived the conceptual framework of traditional folk music, combining multicultural roots and traditions to create a truly compelling sound.
