PurgatoryCreek Soundware Pianet N KONTAKT | 294 MB
Software reincarnation of a rare vintage tool. Sound engineer Pianet N Purgating Creek was carefully sampled with 8 velocities recorded across the entire range. The electro-mechanical piano, the prototype of this sample set, was made between 1965 and 1967. This is a rare reed instrument.
Almost every note of the instrument was recorded and release samples were included in the library. The original instrument included the effect of a monaural tremollo, which is also emulated. The tool uses 28 MB of RAM and requires 307 MB of free disk space.
You’ll find a three-band equalizer, volume for sampled releases, and a velocity curve dialog box that allows the user to adjust the instrument so that it responds to the touch. In addition, there are controls for tremolo, phaser and reverb effects. Finally, a series of amplifier simulations are proposed.
