Now the musicians were embracing new technologies, mixing live instruments with drum machines and analog synthesizers,
to create an irresistible mix of warm textures and cool rhythms. MIDNIGHT SUNSET splits the sound
published by SOLAR Records (Shalamar, The Whispers, Dynasty), as well as artists such as Prince and Rick James – sound,
which influenced music far beyond a decade, and then on the hip-hop of the west coast of the 1990s.
